DESKRIPSI: Hipertensi dalam kehamilan merupakan salah satu penyebab yang berkontribusi teradap mortalitas ibu dan anak di Indonesia. Buku "Juice Labu Siam Bermanfaat Menurunkan Hipertensi Ibu Postpartum" berisi pemahaman mengenai patofisiologi terjadinya hipertensi pada ibu hamil sampai masa nifas. Ibu yang mengalami kenaikan tekanan darah khususnya dengan asupan nutrisi tinggi natrium dapat di minimalisir dengan perubahan pola makan yang baik sesuai dengan DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension).
Setelah memahami sebab akibat terjadinya hipertensi, penulis menyajikan salah satu cara manajemen hipertensi yang dapat dilakukan dengan prosedur yang mudah dan praktis yaitu dengan mengonsumsi juice labu siam. Manajemen hipertensi dengan konsumsi juice labu siam akan berpengaruh terhadap tekanan darah dengan optimal apabila dibarengi konsumsi obat tekanan darah. Buku ini disajikan untuk membantu ibu-ibu dalam menangani tekanan darah yang dialami kenaikan tekanan darah pada masa kehamilan sampai masa nifas.
