Buku ini mengulas secara komprehensif konsep pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam konteks pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Di tengah dinamika sistem kesehatan yang terus berkembang, rumah sakit tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat pelayanan medis, tetapi juga memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat untuk menjaga dan mengelola kesehatannya sendiri. Narasi dalam buku ini menggambarkan tantangan yang dihadapi rumah sakit dalam membangun partisipasi aktif masyarakat, mulai dari keterbatasan sumber daya hingga resistensi budaya. Di sisi lain, buku ini juga menyoroti berbagai peluang, seperti kolaborasi lintas sektor, digitalisasi layanan, dan pendekatan berbasis komunitas yang mampu memperkuat ikatan antara rumah sakit dan masyarakat. Dilengkapi dengan pendekatan praktis dan inspiratif, buku ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi tenaga kesehatan, manajemen rumah sakit, pembuat kebijakan, dan akademisi yang ingin mendorong transformasi sistem kesehatan berbasis pemberdayaan.
